It made all the totalitarian rulers think that they could do whatever theyy wanted because there was no one to really stop them.
The peaceful actions towards totalitarian rulers resulted in greater tensions between countries which made countries want to invade one another like Japan invading China.
The pacifists didnt want violence and this angered the rulers and lead to more deaths in the community. Ex. Hitler killing all Jewish people
