The Shot Heard Around the World
On June 28, 1914, Archduke Ferdinand was assassinated by a Bosnian-Serb Nationalist... This event sparked the fuel (tensions) of the early 1900s into a World War. The Alliance System was one of the tensions leading up to WWI. How did the assassination start the Alliance System on fire?
